I hope youre doing well. I havent been leaving my house except to go to work. Its actually very nice being a hermit. Anyway, my grandparents have moved to assisted living, but my grandpa left some plants in his garden. My dad and I helped ourselves to some jalapenos. Is it too hot out for bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers? Eh, who cares.

The following is how I made todays bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers.

  1. Put cream cheese in a bowl. Throw in a random amount of cheese.
  2. Slice the jalapenos in half and cut out the seeds. Think to yourself that maybe the jalapenos arent very spicy. Take a bite of a piece. Nope, they are very spicy.
  3. Wash hands.
  4. Get the bacon out of the fridge. Cut 5 slices in half. Well, roughly in half. Whatever.
  5. Wash hands.
  6. Put the cream cheese in the microwave since its still not soft. Melt the cheese you threw in. Oh well, its fine.
  7. Scoop an even amount of cream cheese into each jalapeno half. Thats even, right?jalapeno slices filled with cream cheese
  8. Wash hands.
  9. Touch the bacon. Get out toothpicks. Oops. Do that the other way around.
  10. Wrap the jalapenos with half a slice of bacon and use a toothpick to secure.jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese wrapped with raw bacon secured with multicolor toothpicks
  11. Wash hands.
  12. Throw out the rest of the toothpicks cos you touched them after touching raw bacon.
  13. Put the jalapeno poppers in the oven for 20 minutes.
  14. Dont let them cool and eat a green one. Yum, very tasty. Try a red one. Learn quickly that the red ones are the spiciest.cooked bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers on the pan they were baked on
