3 Small Business Mystery Boxes
Mystery boxes and supporting small businesses. Does it get any better? I love shopping on Etsy. Etsy hosts makers and creatives from all over the world. It’s super easy to find small businesses in Pennsylvania with the search feature. For this small business haul, I chose three completely different types of businesses to share with you all. If you’ve got some extra cash in your pocket, shopping small and local is the way to go!
Stitches by Paige
Stitches by Paige is a star seller shop specializing in headbands located in south central PA. I’ve purchased from Paige before so I know I’m getting a high quality headband. I ordered a mystery bag of 3 headbands: one holiday, one solid color, and one patterned headband. If you like headbands, please give Stitches by Paige a try. The holiday pattern I received is a light blue with snowflakes on it, the solid color is a nice eggplant color, and the patterned headband is a light pink grid style. The headbands are soft and buttery. They are comfortable enough to wear all day.
Spellbound Nails
Spellbound Nails is in western PA. Ashley makes handcrafted cruelty free nail polishes. I have a small hobby of collecting nail polishes and chose the mini polish mystery scoop. I ordered 3 scoops. Ashley records every scoop and posts them on her social media. Here’s the link to my scoop. My absolute favorite polish out of these three is Two Faced. It’s a thermal color changing nail polish that is a dark berry color when cold and a bright pink when warm.
DovekienFinch
The third shop I purchased from is DovekienFinch which is located near York, PA. Gwen and Nathan make handmade concrete planters, vases, trays, and other home decor. My first purchase from them was a hand shaped flower vase. It’s super cute! For this order, I bought a mystery box of concrete home decor. Watch my unboxing video here.
I am keeping the kitty cat candle holder for myself and gifted some of the vases and keychain to my family.
Bonus!
Sweet & Sowers Shop
Sweet & Sowers Shop offers custom soy candles in a variety of scents. Choices include sweater weather, farmers market, honeydew melon, sea salt caramel, and citrus sunshine. The candles are “topped intuitively with crystals, herbs, flowers, glitter,” so they are somewhat of a mystery, too. I purchased warm vanilla. It’s so pretty and smells delicious.
