2019 Made in PA Etsy Holiday Gift Guide
It’s that time of year again! Are you looking to find the perfect gift? Don’t settle for something from just anywhere. Etsy makes it easy to support local businesses and find something everyone you love will also love. You know how much I love supporting local businesses, so check out my Etsy holiday gift guide with gift ideas from Etsy sellers who are all based in Pennsylvania. These are a few you can support, too.
1. Art of the Earth
Kate at Art of the Earth makes beautiful handmade ceramics. For the person on your list who has everything, I doubt they have a hand carved flower mug. I love the red glaze on the white background. I’m sure the receiver of this gift will love it, too. Check out the carved flower vase to go with it!
2. Carol Fazio Design
I bought a notebook from Carol Fazio and I am so impressed with all of her artwork. I couldn’t decide which piece would be best for this gift guide until I found her 2020 desktop calendar. My grandparents have a tradition of buying everyone a calendar for Christmas. If you do, too, this beautiful and limited edition calendar is the one to buy. Hurry, there were only 100 made!
3. The Wildest Flowers
I have been following The Wildest Flowers ever since I saw a photo of her pressed flower art shared on Instagram. For a really unique gift, Kenzie makes this pressed flower phone case. Every phone case is custom and made to order. If you’re looking for something for someone less tech savvy, you can choose different colors and stones for this moon phases wall hanging. It’s a pre-order and will be delivered before Christmas.
4. Adorned by Aisha
What would a holiday gift guide be without jewelry? I took inspiration from my blog name when I found this bee and honeycomb necklace from Adorned by Aisha. There are also matching earrings! For something extra special, check out her authentic bee pollen necklace with $5 from each purchase being donated to Pollinator Partnership.
5. Balance and Blessings
Aromatherapy continues to gain popularity and the jewelry from Balance and Blessings combines aromatherapy with beautiful beads and stones. For my Etsy holiday gift guide, I chose this aromatherapy diffuser stretchy bracelet because the glass beads look like they’re watercolor and I think that’s really pretty. Combine one of Jillian’s aromatherapy bracelets with your gift recipient’s favorite essential oil blend for a gift they will never forget.
6. Glitz Soap Co
Bath and body products make great gifts. I was searching for lip balms and homemade soaps and I didn’t even know I needed this River Rock Soap Bar Tray from Glitz Soap Co. Have you thought of the perfect person on your list to buy this for? (It’s okay if it’s not me.) While you’re at it, check out Alicia’s other products like this coconut milk and oatmeal soap bar. As a bonus, all products from Glitz Soap Co are vegan and palm free.
7. Calicutts Spice Co
I know you know someone who would love a spiced sugar scrub to go with their spicy personality. In scents like Lavender Vanilla and Lemon Basil, these scrubs will be a winner. If your spicy gift receiver is more into eating spices than washing with them, check out all of the handcrafted spice blends, like Autumn Harvest or Garden Citrus. Calicutts is one of my favorite local businesses, so if you’re ever in the Hershey, PA area, you should definitely pay them a visit and sample the aroma of all of their spices in person.
8. Lancaster Beard Co
Extend No Shave November into December with the gift of good beard hygiene. For the bearded men in your life, look no further than Lancaster Beard Co’s organic beard balm sampler pack. You can choose three or four beard balms from their scents which include Vanilla Bourbon and Coffee Stout. If you’re local to Lancaster, you can also find Lancaster Beard Co at events like Small Business Saturday at the Park City Mall on November 30th.
(P.S. I’m definitely buying some of this beard balm for my dad. Don’t tell him!)
9. Moss Lane Soaps
Hello, bacon scented soap. Who doesn’t want to smell like delicious, smoky bacon? It even looks like bacon! If your gift receiver just isn’t to bacon that much, Moss Lane Soaps also offers other cold pressed soaps like Beach, which will remind you of a warm day with the sand between your toes. I also think this soap would look particularly beautiful resting on the river rock soap tray above (hint hint).
10. Yummy Pancake
Why not continue the bacon love with this adorable Santa bacon ornament? Denise at Yummy Pancake crochets ornaments and keychains for both the young and older gift recipient on your list. Your gift receiver will be reminded of how much you love them year after year when they place this Santa pierogi ornament on their tree.
11. Boulder and Branch
You might recognize Boulder and Branch as Little Fish Place. Steph is going through a rebranding and I am all here for it. Everything she makes just keeps getting better. For the cat lover in your life, you need this concrete cat decor. Though I might be a little biased, because it’s my cat, Iris, in the listing photo. For a completely unbiased selection, I give this hilarious bathroom sign 5 stars. It will be perfect for the potty humor loving person on your list.
12. Pop Can Aviation
Now, this next one is a really unique gift. Find handmade airplane whirl-a-gigs using beer cans and soda cans from Pop Can Aviation. They are super creative and one of a kind. Buy one for a pilot, for a soda lover, for a bar owner or for a soda loving, bar owning pilot. I don’t know who on your list needs this, but you do, so what are you waiting for?
13. Cait’s Collars
Is your gift recipient of the four paws and furry variety? Cait makes high quality martingale dog collars in different patterns like this succulent and suede collar. Martingale collars are great for the dogs in your life that sometimes like to slip their collar. They are a safe way to prevent pulling when properly fitted. Can you picture your favorite dog wearing this red flowers and gold collar?
14. Rexmake
Last but not least, you’re going to need thank you cards to send to everyone who bought you a gift. Kristen uses an antique printing press to print her handmade cards. I can’t think of a better way to say “thank you” than with gold ink.
