Baked Goat Cheese Balls with Honey and Lavender

baked goat cheese ballsRemember the honey and lavender goat cheese triangles I shared last week?  Well here’s an even easier recipe for baked goat cheese balls that uses the exact same goat cheese mixture as the triangles.

I took these baked goat cheese balls to work and they were gone almost as soon I mentioned I had them.  My co-worker love goat cheese and she’s been begging me to make goat cheese balls for probably the past year.

I know you know I also have a small obsession with goat cheese.  I could eat it all the time.  Goat cheese makes everything better: beets, sweet potatoes, sandwiches, butternut squash, scrambled eggs, salad, I could go on, but you get the idea.  My favorite goat cheese comes from Camelot Valley.  I know I mention it every time I post a recipe with goat cheese.  If you haven’t tried it yet, what are you waiting for?

You can eat these by themselves as a snack or throw them straight out of the oven and onto a salad.  They’d be great with a nice vinaigrette.

Don’t forget to purchase the culinary lavender from Hope Hill Lavender Farm!
