Top Five Recipes of 2017
Did you have a good 2017? There were some ups and downs, but I never gave up on my blog and I’m proud to say that I am extremely happy with the success I have had. In 2018, I hope to write more posts and share more recipes. I hope to grow my social media following and improve my photography as well. I hope you’ll join me!
Without further ado, here are the top five recipes of 2017:
Easy Homemade Birch Beer
This recipe for homemade birch beer uses molasses, a vanilla bean, and birch beer extract to create a refreshing “manly root beer.” I love root beer, too, but birch beer just has an extra kick to it that you should try.
Steamed Cauliflower with Lemon, Butter, and Dill
This recipe for steamed cauliflower is a super easy, but delicious and healthy recipe anyone can make. Steaming vegetables helps keep their flavor and nutritional value. Also, is there any combination better than lemon, butter, and dill?
Sugar Free Homemade Maraschino Cherries
I love maraschino cherries and this recipe is processed like store bought ones. They have a rich sweet flavor and can be used on top of ice cream, in a Shirley Temple, in a Manhattan, or you know, just eaten straight from the jar.
Beet and Grapefruit Salad with Salmon
This recipe for beet and grapefruit salad with salmon is super heart healthy. It’s easy to throw together, especially if you use a salmon burger from Wild for Salmon. You might be hesitant to try a salad with beets and grapefruit, but they make a pleasantly delicious flavor combination.
Cinnamon Soft Pretzel Bites
I could eat these cinnamon soft pretzel bites all day every day. Using maple sugar combined with butter and cinnamon gives the soft pretzel bites an addictive flavor. I guarantee you won’t be able to eat just one.
If you liked the recipes I made this year, I hope you will join me for even more recipes and lifestyle posts in 2018!
