Perfect Scrambled Eggs
Here is another beginner recipe that is super easy. My grandfather makes the best scrambled eggs. They are light and fluffy and I finally figured out his secret and I am going to share that secret for making perfect scrambled eggs with you. Follow along and you’ll have soft and fluffy scrambled eggs in no time!
First crack your eggs in a bowl and add ¼ cup of milk. I love whole milk best and so does my grandfather. Whisk those eggs and milk together until they are nice and foamy. The key to a fluffy scrambled egg is to add plenty of air in them when you’re whisking.
Heat a small pan over medium heat and add a little butter. Once the butter is melted, add your eggs. You do not want the heat too high as the key is to not cook the eggs too fast.
Use a spatula to move the eggs around the edges. Pull the cooked egg toward the center and allow the uncooked egg to run. Turn the pan at an angle if needed and keep on sweeping the spatula around the pan until the eggs look almost done.
Don’t overcook the eggs! Wait until they are just about done, but still soft and turn off the heat. Immediately pour the eggs onto a plate and enjoy!
Once you’ve got the basics down to making perfect scrambled eggs, you can try a savory variation. Halfway through cooking you can add:
Cheddar or Feta
Sauteed veggies like asparagus, onions, or spinach
Bacon or sausage
Maybe a side of pancakes?
